5 of 5 Best Warrant Officer School Guide for Future Warra April 9, 2020
Reviewer: John Bowman (Amazon Review)
If you are thinking of becoming a Warrant Officer in the US Army I highly encourage you get this book. The first half of this guide takes you step-by-step through the application process and provides details on how to fill out all the application forms. There are also examples of correctly filled out waivers if you need to apply for them. There are tips on how to set your application apart from other candidates as well as insight from the author's many years as a Warrant Officer. In addition to the application checklist there are Up-to-Date examples of virtually every form you will submit. I found especially helpful were the examples of the Letters of Reference, Resume and the completed DA Form 61. I also liked the chapters on what to expect once arriving at the Warrant Officer Candidate School at Fort Rucker Alabama. The Seven Minute Drills, WOC 500 and Singing for Dining Rights were right on!

The sections in the back give great insight into the Officer Evaluation Reporting (OER) process and captures the recent changes to OERs that just came out in the Army Times! There are several sections dedicated to Aviator Warrant Candidates, including practice tests and this book probably has more information on the new SIFT requirements in one place then I've seen anywhere else.

Boroch has done a great job of blending his humor and reflections from when he went through WOCS throughout the book , along with many helpful tips and insights, to really make this a Survival Guide and an overall great read!

All in all, this book is a great reference tool and a must buy for anyone applying for Warrant Officer or for anyone interested in finding out what it takes to be a US Army Warrant Officer!!!!

4 of 5 Great Familiarization Tool April 9, 2020
Reviewer: Matt (Amazon Review)
Pretty good. I would recommend this to anyone beginning the process. However, use this book merely as familiarization rather than as Gospel because WOCS tends to change frequently.
